Sometimes your caption is close but needs a little polish. SoSocial’s AI can analyze your content and suggest specific improvements to help you get better engagement.

How It Works

The AI reviews your existing caption and provides targeted suggestions for improvement. It looks at your content through the lens of social media best practices and your brand settings to offer actionable feedback.

You can also provide custom instructions to guide the AI’s suggestions. For example, you might ask it to “make this more casual” or “add a stronger call to action.” The AI can optionally perform a web search to incorporate current, relevant information into its suggestions.

Types of Improvements

The AI may suggest changes like:

• Stronger hooks — Rewriting your opening line to grab attention immediately.
• Clearer calls to action — Making it obvious what you want your audience to do.
• Better structure — Breaking up long paragraphs, adding line breaks, or reordering ideas.
• Tone adjustments — Shifting the voice to better match your brand or platform audience.
• Added context — Including relevant details or current information that makes your post more valuable.

Using Improvement Suggestions

When the AI offers suggestions, you can:

• Accept them as-is and update your caption.
• Use them as inspiration and rewrite the caption yourself.
• Ask for different suggestions by providing more specific instructions.

The AI doesn’t change your caption automatically — you’re always in control of the final content.

Tips

• The more specific your instructions, the more useful the improvements. “Make it punchier” is good, but “rewrite the first sentence as a question” is even better.
• Try running improvements after checking your Engagement Score. If the score is lower than expected, let the AI suggest ways to boost it.
• Use the optional web search when your post covers a trending topic or factual claims that could benefit from current data.
