Generate a Week of Content

Planning a week’s worth of social media content takes time. SoSocial’s Generate Week feature uses AI to create multiple draft posts at once, giving you a content plan you can review, edit, and schedule in minutes.

How to Use It

1. Go to the Compose page.
2. Click the Generate Week button to open the generation modal.
3. The AI creates a set of draft posts for the week ahead.
4. Review each generated post in the modal — you’ll see the caption, suggested platform, and content type.
5. Click Use in Composer on any post to load it into the editor, where you can refine and schedule it.

What the AI Considers

The Generate Week feature uses Claude Sonnet, a more capable model, to produce higher-quality batch content. It draws on:

• Brand Settings — Your brand name, description, tone of voice, content themes, and website URL all inform the generated content.
• Analytics data — If you have published posts with analytics, the AI looks at what’s performed well to suggest similar themes and formats.
• Content variety — The AI aims for a balanced mix of content types and topics throughout the week so your feed stays interesting.

After Generating

Generated posts are not published or scheduled automatically. They’re presented as suggestions for you to curate:

• Use as-is — If a post looks great, load it into the composer and schedule it.
• Edit and refine — Most generated posts benefit from your personal touch. Add specific details, swap in your own media, or adjust the tone.
• Skip what doesn’t fit — Not every suggestion will be a winner. Pick the ones that align with your current priorities.

Tips

• Configure your Brand Settings before using this feature. The AI produces much better content when it understands your brand.
• Use Generate Week at the start of your planning session, then spend your time refining and scheduling rather than writing from scratch.
• Pair generated posts with your own original content for the best mix of consistency and authenticity.
