Analytics Overview
An introduction to the Analytics page — date ranges, platform tabs, and cross-platform views.
Analytics Overview
The Analytics page gives you a comprehensive look at how your social media content is performing. Use it to track engagement trends, identify top content, and make data-driven decisions about what to post and when.
Date Range Selector
At the top of the page, the date range selector lets you focus on a specific time period:
- Last 7 days — A quick snapshot of recent performance.
- Last 30 days — A monthly view for identifying trends.
- Last 90 days — A quarterly perspective for longer-term patterns.
- Custom range — Pick any start and end date for a tailored view.
All charts and metrics on the page update to reflect your selected range.
Platform Tabs
The Analytics page is organized into tabs:
- Facebook — Detailed metrics for your Facebook Page including profile stats, post performance, and story analytics.
- Instagram — Similar breakdown for your Instagram Business account with engagement rates and follower growth.
Each platform tab has its own sub-tabs for Profile, Posts, and Stories, giving you granular control over what data you’re viewing.
Cross-Platform Views
Beyond individual platforms, you’ll find tabs that aggregate data across all connected accounts:
- Top Posts — Your best-performing content ranked by engagement.
- Optimal Times — A heatmap showing when your audience is most engaged.
- AI Insights — AI-generated analysis of your performance data with actionable recommendations.
Getting Started
Analytics data is fetched automatically every 6 hours for posts published in the last 30 days. You can also trigger a manual refresh at any time using the Refresh button. The more posts you publish and the longer you use SoSocial, the richer your analytics become.
