Step-by-step guide to upgrading your SoSocial subscription.

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrading your SoSocial plan is quick and straightforward. Whether you’re moving from the free trial to a paid plan or stepping up to a higher tier, the process takes just a few clicks.

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Account from the sidebar.
  2. Click the Billing tab.
  3. Review the available plans. Use the Monthly / Annual toggle to compare pricing options.
  4. Click Subscribe on the plan you’d like.
  5. You’ll be redirected to Stripe Checkout, a secure payment page where you enter your payment details.
  6. Complete the payment.
  7. You’re redirected back to SoSocial with your new plan active immediately.

What Happens After Upgrading

  • Instant activation — Your new plan’s features and limits are available right away. There’s no waiting period.
  • Higher limits — Post quotas, platform connections, AI usage allowances, and other limits increase to match your new tier.
  • Feature access — Any features locked on your previous plan (such as advanced analytics or inbox access) become available immediately.

Switching Between Plans

You can change plans at any time from the Billing tab. This includes both upgrades and downgrades:

  • Upgrading gives you immediate access to the higher plan’s features.
  • Downgrading adjusts your limits at the next billing cycle.

Monthly vs. Annual Billing

When choosing a plan, you can opt for monthly or annual billing:

  • Monthly — Pay each month with the flexibility to cancel anytime.
  • Annual — Pay once per year at a discounted rate (save 7–15% depending on the plan).

You can switch between monthly and annual billing from the Stripe Customer Portal.

Upgrading from a Trial

If you’re on the free trial, upgrading works the same way. Go to the Billing tab, pick a plan, and complete the Stripe Checkout. Your trial converts to a paid subscription with no interruption in service.
