Shared Calendar Links

Create shareable calendar links for clients or team members with customizable access controls.

Shared Calendar Links

Collaboration is easier when everyone can see the plan. SoSocial lets you create shareable calendar links that give external reviewers, clients, or team members a view of your content schedule — without needing a SoSocial account.

Navigate to Settings > Calendar Share Management to create and manage shared links. Click the button to generate a new link, and you’ll be able to customize its access settings before sharing.

Customization Options

Each shared link can be tailored to control exactly what the viewer sees and can do:

Password Protection

Optionally set a password on the link. Anyone who opens it will need to enter the password before they can view the calendar. This adds a layer of security for sensitive content plans.

Expiry Date

Set an expiry date after which the link stops working. This is useful for time-limited collaborations — share the link for the duration of a campaign review, then let it expire automatically.

Platform Filter

Choose which platforms are visible through the link. If your client only manages your Instagram presence, you can limit the shared view to Instagram posts only — keeping other platform content private.

Status Filter

Filter by post status to control what’s visible. You might share only pending posts for review, or include published posts to show a client what’s already gone out.

Allow Approval Actions

Enable or disable the ability for viewers to approve, reject, or request changes on posts. When enabled, the shared calendar becomes an interactive review tool. When disabled, it’s a read-only view.

From the Calendar Share Management page, you can see all active links, edit their settings, or revoke them at any time. Revoking a link immediately stops it from working — anyone who tries to open it will see an error.

Use Cases

  • Client review — share the upcoming week’s content for sign-off before publishing.
  • Team coordination — give team members without SoSocial accounts a view of the schedule.
  • Stakeholder visibility — let managers or executives see what’s going out without cluttering their workflow.
