Content Templates
Save and reuse caption templates for consistent, efficient content creation.
Content Templates
If you regularly create content in a consistent format — weekly tips, product highlights, event announcements — templates save you from rewriting the same structure every time. The Content Library lets you store reusable caption templates and load them into the composer with one click.
Creating a Template
Open the Content Library (Templates page) and click the button to create a new template. You’ll need to provide:
- Template name — a descriptive label so you can find it quickly (e.g., “Weekly Tip Format,” “Product Launch Announcement”).
- Caption text — the reusable caption content. You can include placeholder text where details will change each time (e.g., “[Product Name]” or “[Tip of the Week]”).
Save the template, and it’s added to your library for future use.
Using a Template
When you’re ready to create a post, browse your templates in the Content Library and click Use on the one you want. The template’s caption text is loaded into the composer, where you can customize it for the specific post — fill in the placeholders, adjust the wording, add media, and select your platforms.
Templates are a starting point, not a constraint. You’re free to modify the loaded caption as much as you need.
Managing Your Template Library
Over time, your template library grows as you create new formats. Keep it organized by:
- Using descriptive names so you can scan the list quickly.
- Updating templates as your content style evolves — edit any template to refine its structure.
- Removing outdated templates that you no longer use.
When to Use Templates
Templates work best for repeating content formats where the structure stays the same but the details change:
- Weekly series — “Tip Tuesday,” “Feature Friday,” “Monday Motivation”
- Product posts — consistent format for new product announcements
- Event promotions — standard layout for event details and calls to action
- Testimonials — a branded format for customer quotes
Templates and Recurring Schedules
Templates pair well with recurring schedules. Set up a recurring schedule for your weekly series, and use the same template each time to keep the format consistent. This combination turns content creation into an efficient, repeatable workflow.
