Scheduling a Post
Learn how to schedule posts to one or multiple dates using the Schedule Modal in SoSocial.
Scheduling a Post
Getting your content out at the right time is essential for engagement. SoSocial makes it easy to schedule posts to go out exactly when you want — even across multiple dates at once.
Opening the Schedule Modal
Once you’ve composed your post and selected the platforms you want to publish to, click the Schedule button in the composer toolbar. This opens the Schedule Modal, where you’ll set the date and time for your post.
Picking Dates and Times
The Schedule Modal lets you select one or multiple dates for the same post. This is especially useful when you want to re-share content across different days without duplicating work.
For each selected date, set a specific time using the compact time input. Click on the time field to open a scrollable time picker — just scroll to find your preferred hour and minute, then tap to confirm. No need to type anything manually.
Scheduling to Multiple Dates
Want your post to go out on both Tuesday and Friday? Simply select both dates in the calendar. Each date gets its own time slot, so you can publish at 9:00 AM on Tuesday and 6:00 PM on Friday if that suits your audience better.
Confirming Your Schedule
Once you’re happy with the dates and times, click Schedule to confirm. SoSocial creates a scheduled entry for each date and adds them to the publish queue. You’ll see them appear on both the Posts page and the Calendar.
What Happens Next
After scheduling, your posts sit in the queue and are automatically published at the designated times. There’s nothing else you need to do — SoSocial handles the rest. If something goes wrong during publishing, the system retries automatically so your content still goes out.
You can always revisit your scheduled posts on the Posts page or the Calendar to make changes before they go live.
