Canva Integration

SoSocial integrates with Canva so you can design professional graphics without leaving the app. Whether you need a quick social media graphic or a polished branded visual, the Canva integration keeps your workflow seamless.

Connecting Your Canva Account

Go to Settings from the sidebar.
Find the Canva section under Integrations.
Click Connect Canva to start the OAuth authorization flow.
Sign in to your Canva account (or create one if you don’t have one yet).
Grant SoSocial permission to access your designs.
You’ll be redirected back to SoSocial with your Canva account connected.

Using Canva in the Composer

Once connected, a Canva button appears in the post composer’s media section. Clicking it opens the Canva Import Modal where you can:

Browse existing designs — See your recent Canva projects and select one to use.
Create a new design — Launch a new Canva design session with social media–optimized dimensions already set.
Export as image — Convert any Canva design into a high-quality image (PNG or JPG) that gets attached to your post.

Tips for Best Results

Use Canva’s social media templates for platform-specific dimensions (e.g., 1080×1080 for Instagram, 1200×630 for Facebook).
Designs are exported as static images — animations and multi-page designs will export the first page only.
You can import multiple Canva designs into a single post if you want a carousel or gallery layout.
Your Canva Free or Pro account features carry over — any templates, brand kits, or premium elements available in your Canva plan work within SoSocial.

Disconnecting Canva

To disconnect, go to Settings, find the Canva integration, and click Disconnect. You can reconnect at any time without losing your Canva designs.
