Theme Settings
Switch between Light, Dark, and System themes for comfortable viewing.
Theme Settings
SoSocial supports three visual themes so you can work in the environment that’s most comfortable for you. Switch themes instantly from the app header.
Available Themes
Light Theme
A clean, bright interface with white backgrounds and dark text. Best for well-lit environments or users who prefer a traditional look.
Dark Theme
A darker interface with deep backgrounds and lighter text. Reduces eye strain in low-light conditions, saves battery on OLED displays, and is preferred by many users for extended work sessions.
System Theme
Automatically follows your operating system’s appearance preference. If your OS is set to dark mode, SoSocial uses the dark theme. If your OS is in light mode, SoSocial matches. When your OS switches (e.g., scheduled dark mode at sunset), the app updates automatically.
How to Switch Themes
- Look for the theme toggle icon in the app header (top of the page).
- Click the icon to cycle through the available themes: Light, Dark, and System.
- The change takes effect immediately — no page reload needed.
Full App Coverage
The selected theme applies consistently across every part of the app:
- Composer — The post editor, media picker, and AI modals all adapt.
- Calendar — Day, week, and month views use theme-appropriate colors.
- Inbox — Conversation lists and message threads follow the theme.
- Analytics — Charts, graphs, and data tables adjust for readability.
- Settings and Account — All configuration pages respect the theme.
- Modals and overlays — Schedule pickers, confirmations, and AI panels match.
Your Preference Is Saved
Your theme selection is saved to your browser, so it persists across sessions. You don’t need to re-select your theme each time you log in.
Tips
- Try System mode if you want the app to match your device automatically throughout the day.
- Use Dark mode for late-night content scheduling sessions to reduce eye fatigue.
- Light mode can be easier to read when sharing your screen in presentations or client meetings.
