Inviting Team Members
Invite colleagues to your organization and collaborate on social media content.
Inviting Team Members
SoSocial makes it easy to bring your team together. Invite colleagues to your organization so everyone can collaborate on content creation, scheduling, and analytics.
How to Send an Invitation
- Go to Account from the sidebar.
- Scroll to the Team Management section.
- Enter the team member’s email address.
- Select a role for the new member:
- Admin — Full access to all features, settings, and team management.
- Member — Access to core features like composing, scheduling, and analytics, with limited settings access.
- Click Invite.
The invitee receives an email with a link to accept the invitation and join your organization.
Managing Pending Invitations
After sending an invitation, it appears in the Pending Invitations list under Team Management. From here you can:
- View pending invites — See who has been invited but hasn’t accepted yet.
- Revoke an invitation — Cancel a pending invite before the recipient accepts it. This is useful if you sent an invite to the wrong email or changed your mind about adding someone.
What the Invitee Experiences
When someone receives your invitation:
- They get an email with an invitation link.
- Clicking the link takes them to SoSocial.
- If they already have a SoSocial account, they can accept the invitation and join your organization.
- If they’re new to SoSocial, they’ll create an account first and then join.
Tips for Team Invitations
- Invite early — During your free trial, invite team members so they can explore the platform alongside you.
- Choose roles carefully — Start team members as Members, and upgrade to Admin only when they need access to settings and team management.
- Verify email addresses — Double-check the email before sending to avoid invitations going to the wrong person.
Who Can Send Invitations
Only users with Admin privileges can invite new team members. If you’re a Member and need to invite someone, ask an Admin in your organization to send the invitation.
