Filter and search your inbox conversations by platform, message type, read status, and keywords.

Inbox Filters & Search

When your inbox fills up with conversations from multiple platforms, filters and search help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

Filter Controls

The filter bar sits at the top of the Inbox conversation list. Use these options to narrow down what’s displayed:

Platform Filter

Show conversations from a specific platform only:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • X (Twitter)
  • TikTok

Select one or more platforms, or leave all selected to see everything.

Message Type

Filter by the kind of interaction:

  • DM — Direct messages and private conversations.
  • Comment — Replies on your published posts.
  • Mention — Posts or comments that tag your account.

Read / Unread Status

Quickly switch between:

  • All — Every conversation.
  • Unread — Only conversations with new, unread messages.
  • Read — Conversations you’ve already viewed.

This is especially useful for triaging — switch to “Unread” to focus on what needs your attention.

Sorting

Sort the conversation list by:

  • Newest first — Most recent messages at the top (default).
  • Oldest first — Earliest messages at the top, useful for catching up on a backlog.

The search bar at the top of the Inbox lets you find conversations by keyword. Type a word or phrase, and the list filters in real time to show matching conversations. Search looks through message content and sender names.

Combining Filters

All filters work together. For example, you can search for “order” while filtering to Instagram DMs only — showing just Instagram direct messages that mention “order.” Clear individual filters or click Reset to return to the full conversation list.
